So I missed the StrangeDavis Fall Tour, but I was wondering if anyone wanted to warm up the basses and get the band back together for a Spring Tour leg.
I have from March 14-23 off for Spring Break and was wondering if you guys would be down for a Bayou Blitz tour. I figure we could start in Texarkana, TX or Shreveport, LA and head towards Baton Rouge. After a solid night or two of shows at LSU's campus we could then head towards New Orleans and rock The Big Easy. I heard the folks in New Orleans love music especially family bands with strange tendencies. We could rage there and finish up or take the Bayou roads until we can go no further (Delta National Wildlife Refuge).
Ride would be 400 or if we take it to the end of bayou, a cool 500. Van ride down would be 10-11:45 depending on where we start. Average temp that time of year down there 75 high /45 low.
As you can imagine, it would be flat as hell and we'd end up below sea level. So there's that.
Anyway this is an initial email to gauge interest.
Also, if anyone is bored and wanted to do this ride (Tony) it would be a Sunday Funday: http://tourdelights.kintera.org/faf/help/helpEventInfo.asp?ievent=1117474&lis=1&kntae1117474=51782858D68E44C8BDE582CF8AB98184
